“A Great Place to Stay” January 10, 2015
The apartment is renovated with a large master bedroom and bathroom. The price was great considering the amenities and location. There are 3 balconies with sea views. The kitchen was large with utensils. The maid service was every other day.
Location with a track to jog on the north side. The beach at Buccanos is a deal as the entrance fee of $8.00 is credited toward the meal/drink. The Key Lime Pie Factory has the best pie we ever had.
Recommend that you rent a car-the freedom to tour the island and go to restaurants at night.
Buy groceries at MEGA.
Restaurants; Bahia del Caribe is a great bargain on 5AV south of the Post Office for seafood-a 700 gram grouper for $12.00US. La Mission is romantic with great food. El Coctelito on the main boulevard is great for seafood and Mexican food.
Avoid the timeshare persons for Occidental Vacation packages-it is high pressure sale and you pay $40.00 each to go to Playa Del Carmen by ferry and shuttle to Tulum which is the amount you would pay if on your own. Therefore you wasted 3 hours.
“Lovely Condo & Great Location & Attentive Service”
March 26, 2014
I researched many condos on-line with the help of Flip Key and Travel advisor. I finally chose Miramar 404 because it was north of town, away from the cruisers & town bustle, but close enough to walk and bike to each day if I wanted.
Matias and Isabel are very organized and helpful. They can arrange anything you might want to do. However I suggest you research the tours and the snorkeling before making arrangements.
Matias and Isabel welcomed us with flowers! We loved the many conveniences of the condo--4 balconies!! 2 to watch the sunrise and 2 to watch it set. The a/C units were great when the humidity rose. All the appliances worked and my only complaint would be cooking utensils--spatulas, nicer pans, a peeler were lacking.
he food is plentiful and reasonable in Cozumel so I suggest getting out to explore! The Lobster House was a great treat and The Playa Azul Beach Club has great Shrimp Tostadas and piña coladas.
We were comfortable and had no problems walking to town, or biking around the island.
Best Tip: "Room Service" You call - they bring--you pay. Very reasonable and so convenient.
Thank you Isabel, Matias, Vanesa & all the rest for a great vacation that I will never forget!
"Miramar #404" Feb 3, 2014- 5 stars-
This was our first trip to Cozumel (January 24-31, 2014) and we did a lot of research before we decided on the Miramar Condos. We stayed in #404 and couldn't have been happier. We were greeted by Matias who showed us around and offered to help in any way we needed. Such a nice guy! The condo was spotless and very comfortable. It is located north of town and if you are really energetic you can walk in - to the center of town will take you at least 45 minutes. We rented a car for the week from Isis (another good choice) and were glad we did. The snorkeling right off the back of the property was good (even though there is a fair amount of construction debris on the ocean floor - good cover for the sea life!). You will need flippers as the current (usually south to north) is pretty strong. If we had one complaint (and we had to search pretty hard to find one) it would be that the swimming pool was not heated - the ocean water is warmer than the pool water. In the summer that would be a good thing I would guess.
If you are searching for a nice, safe, quiet place to stay, search no more. Thanks Isabella and Matias! Mark,Terry, Brent and Janet
"Great quiet and private place" Aug 15, 2013-5 stars-
Snorkeling access perfect. Views are incredible. I will stay here next time I come to Cozumel.
"Beautiful Stay- great snorkeling" Feb 28, 2013-5 stars-
Excellent service for reservations and checking in, super clean. The best snorkeling right off the dive platform into the ocean. The condo had everything we needed for our stay. Breakfast on the balcanies was awesome every morning watching the cruise ships come in for a peice of Cozumel Heaven. The location was far enough from town (about 2 miles) to keep it quiet, but still close enough to walk.
"Amazing View and location!" Jan 11, 2013-4 stars-
Loved staying here!! The person in charge Mathias is amazing. Took care of any problems we had immediately. Followed up everyday to make sure all was well!
The pool was beautiful (although strangely much colder than the sea) and the access to the sea was perfect! Alhtough no beach access from here.
Nearby Hotel Be is nice to hang and have drinks but the food is really bad, stay away!
Wifi is included with the rest of the ammenities.
The ATX activity is def. not worth the money, The description says that it will take you through ruins but we def. did no see any, it's basically paying to ride around a dirt road on an atv vehicle for close to 1.5 hours... and if you go to the dolphin resort be aware that the taxi will cost $15-20 us dollars.
"Wonderful Vacation Home" – Jan 6, 2013- 5 STARS-
The condo is pretty much exactly how it is described. I stayed here with my parents and we were not disappointed. The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable and the view of the ocean is amazing. It is located just north of the ferry about a 5 minute cab ride or a 20 minute walk. It was a perfect location for us to watch the marathon portion of the Ironman. The property management team is very friendly and professional and promptly took care of all our concerns. I highly recommend signing up for the food service. The food is delicious and lovely chefs take very good care of you. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
